Hi - I have a 1963 globetrotter with original linoleum floor tiles. There are a number of tiles that have curled up at the corners also a couple that have disengaged from the floor altogether. The tiles are very brittle and can break easily, so attempts to flatten out curls results in breaking of the edges of the tile. Any suggestions in regards to coaxing these curls to straighten out so they can become one with the floor again? Also suggestions on what to use to adhere tiles back onto the floor. I would like to retain the tiles if possible. Appreciate any advice or direction to relevant info. Many thanks Megan

Try a hair dryer on them and reattach with tile adhesive. It may pay to add a little weight like a brick until the adhesive cures. Good luck with it. You also should be aware that asbestos may be present. Koala

Best to assume that asbestos is present and take precautions. Wear a mask at least. It is only a problem if you break the tiles up which could release fibres. Koala
