Smlewi's van for identification

Hi all,

New forum member Smlewi has provided some photos of a caravan that came with a recently purchased property, and is interested to know what we can tell her about it:

















The van has had some interior modifications which makes it a little difficult to identify, but I am thinking it is either a Franklin from around 1960, or a Huntsman.

What do other people think?

Agree with you Don Ricardo,
Huntsman or Franklin with the shape,those varnished cupboards and plastic ceiling and massive roof hatch.

Hi all,

Smlewi has provided some photos of the serial number on the draw bar of her caravan, using different lighting to assist in reading it:









Smlewi has suggested the number is 71.7g, but I am wondering if it is 71.79?  Either way, it doesn't sound like a Franklin serial number, so perhaps it's a Huntsman number?

Any clues anyone?
