Perhaps a word of caution to people using treated timber when replacing rotted framing. There are various grades of treated timber, and only some is of structural grading. But using a structural grade on a house frame is quite different to using it for caravan framing. The treating process is pretty harsh on wood and tends to make it brittle and unable to flex as well and kiln dried timber. Caravans undergo a lot of flex, and any help you can give to allow that to happen, the longer your van will last. It think this is why caravan builders don't use treated wood and stick to more flexible kiln dried timber.
