Hi Meli, Welcome to the forum and thanks for telling us about your caravan. Can you tell us a bit more about it? The reason I ask is that, just based on the name, your caravan might have two, quite different origins. The first possibility is that it is a Style-LIne caravan built in NSW - click here for more info. The other possibility is that it is a Styleline Executive - click here, which as you'll read means that it was built by someone else but had a Styleline Executive label put on it by a caravan dealer called Doug Thorley. Have a look at these two threads, and let us know which of these two your van is. There are stacks of Doug Thorley's Styleline Executive caravans around, but not many Style-Lines. If you're not sure, if you post some photos of your van we should be able to help you. There are instructions on how to post photos in the 'Forum Guidelines & Helpful Hints' section of the forum. Regarding the possible value of your van, unfortunately there is no reliable way of being able to give you an idea. Unlike cars, there is no Glass guide or website which can give you a guide as to what a particular make and model is worth. The value of vintage caravans varies widely according to the age, scarcity, condition and desirability of the caravan in question. In the end, the value of a caravan depends on what one person is willing to pay another at a given time, based on their specific interests and preferences. For this reason we actually have a policy of not valuing caravans on the forum. However, you can get a bit of an idea of what vintage caravans sell for if you check out Ebuy and Gumtree (search for 'vintage caravan'). Are you looking to sell your van? If so - apart from listing it on Ebuy or Gumtree - you could put a post in the 'For Sale' section of the forum and put in a price you decide on, or invite offers. But if you do that, you will need to include some photos. Hope that's a bit of help. Don Ricardo

Hi Meli,
That's exciting to hear that your van is a Style-Line. As I indicated previously, there's not many of those around.
Apologies for not explaining a bit more about posting photos. To post photos on the forum, you need to do it via an online photo storage website such as Photobucket or Flickr, etc. Most of us use Photobucket, and it was the instructions to using Photobucket in the 'Forum Guidelines & Helpful Hints' section of the forum I was referring to in my previous post.
I think the button you are referring to is the 'Add Attachment' button at the top left hand corner of the 'Create Post' window, BUT that button doesn't operate on our forum.
Have a look at the instructions for using Photobucket, but if it all looks a bit confusing or a bit hard to do on your phone, you are welcome to email the photos to me and I'll post them for you. Click on my forum name in blue in the box to the left of this post and it will open up a window which will give you my email address.
It will be great to see some pics of your van.

The van was built in hexham nsw. Mum & dad bought the van off an older couple back in the mid to late 70's & later on had the annexe renewed... I have good memories of my childhood at forester & the entrace in the van with my family.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTERESTMeli is considering selling her Style-Line caravan and is interested in receiving expressions of interest: For more photos, see higher up this thread. The van also comes with a near new annexe: If you have questions about the van - but not about price - feel free to post them on this thread, or PM Meli. You can find her PM details in the post immediately above - just click on her forum name in blue. If you want to discuss price or make an offer, send a PM to Meli, NOT me. Note: If Meli sells the van, it will be for a reasonable price. She will not be giving it away. Don Ricardo
