Hi All,
Geoff thought life was a bit dull around here so he had another heart attack during Monday night, he is doing really well and we hope he will be home in the next few days.
All I can say is men need to be more aware of what is happening to their bodies and speak out, Geoff was having chest pains Monday night before bed , but decided not to say anything to me. During the night the pains became so bad he couldn't sleep, but did he tell me, nope!!!! He chose not to wake me as I haven't been sleeping well for a while and he thought I needed a good nights sleep. Needless to say when I woke up and discovered what was happening everything moved very quickly and he was at the hospital pronto.
He has had his butt firmly kicked by me and the doctors for waiting so long, this is his third heart attack, maybe one day he will learn .
He has dodged another bullet, but not my anger and we look forward to seeing everyone at SWR

Hey Jude, (that sounds like a good title for a song!)
Geoff sounds like he is thoroughly in control and knows exactly what he's doing. Very thoughtful, didn't complain, didn't wake you, I'm sure he had it all under control and would have called the ambos in the morning himself, didn't want to bother those poor people on night shift, what a man!!
Three strikes is out as I remember, so he is certainly a lucky caravanner, able to hitch up yet again and hit the road.
Work on the recovery Geoff so we can see you in SWR, and next time, try not to be so thoughtful.
George

To everyone who experiences chest pain, if it is a heart attack, the longer you leave it, the worse the damage & it is irreversible! Call 000, that's what they are there for. Early action leads to better outcomes. Same goes for stroke. F- face, A-arms, S- speech, T-time. Here endeth the lesson. Wishing Geoff a speedy recovery.

Hi Jude
Give him another kick when he gets over the ones you already gave him, from Sue & I
We would have had a lot more trouble getting our Quest together if you guys hadn't given us the help you did. Maybe he overdosed on Ballina prawns??, or macadamia oysters??
Whatever, its good to see he he survives again, albeit probably with a hell of a lot of luck rather than good judgement.
Looks like 2 invalids will be eating licorice allsorts at SWR..
Still we will all hopefully enjoy ourselves

Hi Geoff & Jude. So glad to hear Geoff is home & ok.Nearly nine years ago i woke one morning to terrible chest pains.Dilly daddled for a short time thinking different things, and realising it couldn`t be anything else summonsed the ambo. Two further attacks over the week in hospital, angiogram & quad bypass done.Doing alright now but i`m glad i didn`t disregard the innitial symptoms.Once this sort of thing happens you just have to kick back a gear & slow down & don`t raise your arms over your head for prolonged periods. That puts a definite strain on the ticker.Wishing you the best. gordo
