This is for the unidentified bondwood project that we have taken on. After 10 of the door catches as per photo. Does anyone have an exterior light fixture like this that is surplus? Current one is a bit brittle for some reason. Measures around 10" diameter Thanks in advance

Hi Willies, the catches are vintage diecast and not easy to find. I bought 2 on eBay last year for an old kitchen dresser that I was restoring, for around $20ea. You can get new plated brass ones from the US but work out pretty expensive. Google Domino ice box latch 99080 Good luck! Sam

I have checked out the ice box latch 99080 and they are bigger than the one in the pic but similar to the larger catches on my ice box. I have tried numerous places in Adelaide with no success to date. I am after 5 to replace the broken ones but need 11 if I can't match and replace all. Keep my eye open on eBay. Garry

Thanks Cobber, I do have deep pockets but the arms are way too short to reach the readys for those lights. Nice fixture though. If my old fitting was for a marine application it could have weathered a bit better than mine has. i have been looking through the Reference area for suppliers. No luck yet. But I will persist. Garry
