Can anyone please advise any outlets in SA or Australia which sell vinyl floor tiles similar to the blue colours in the two attached photographs? I don't have the time to be visiting all the flooring shops in Adelaide like some do looking for that dusty box of retro type tiles in the back corner of a storeroom or warehouse. Failing to find anything in Australia I might need to research overseas. Thank you. Regards, Bob

Hi Bob, Adelaide Felt and Carpets have new vinyl and marmoleum options including blue colours. Well worth checking out. They have off cuts too. Annie

As per Annie's suggestion I went to Adelaide Felt Suppliers and Tile Layers at 9 Frederick Road, Royal Park. Sales Manager Mark Kowald was most helpful and allowed us to take some samples home to compare with our colour schemes. I went again today and collected my order. I recommend this company to anyone in Adelaide looking at flooring. He actually listened to what we had to say about our project and what we were after, knew his products well and had a very likeable personality.
Of note, the tiles were quite heavy, so disregarding the couple of spare tiles he provided, it will be about an extra 25kg to the weight of the van!
Regards,
Bob

Thanks Monica.
Annie is a wealth of knowledge and if you ever get the chance to see her van you will see that she has put a lot of time, effort and research into that project (Plus her hubby of course!). I went to her house some months ago and walked out of there with some ideas on how I could tackle some of my own problems. There are many forum members in other states but when we can identify more SA members it opens up the opportunity to view their vans and discuss procedures, material etc.
Regards,
Bob

The Vintage and Classic Caravan Group of SA are having a display at Clipsal 500 in March, with approximately 30 pre 1979 vans, also a weekend campaway at the Nuriootpa Caravan Park on the Adelaide Cup weekend 12th & 13th March. On both occasions the vans will be open for display. Cheers Christine & John Hunter
