I got the tpms. i googled a few places, called a few places and found a good value for money system www.ppacaraudio.com.au/index.php?route=product/product&path=119&product_id=488spoke to ppa car audio on the phone, came past and picked it up.. installation was simple the item screwed on to each valve and the device was automatically programmed. so i will now know that each tyre pressure is on each wheel and i will know if i get a tyre pressure drop also i will get a audible alarm if the wheel gets to hot. i will enjoy long trips more now with the added feature to my toyota.

I fitted them about 4 years ago, 'Davies' I think was the brand, they just went onto the valve and are locked on with grub screws. I have found them invaluable as we can now monitor what is going on whilst travelling and the co-pilot keeps an eye on the monitor and the GPS speed readout on the dash cam.
Had an instance on one trip where the monitor was indicating that one tyre on the van was loosing pressure, but my tyre gauge was not showing anything on checking. Kept going until we got numerous alarms and red lights and yes the pressure had dropped to where I could actually see that the tyre was not as inflated as it should have been. We were able to re-inflate it and keep going to our destination where the offending tyre was repaired.
The monitor will show 'pressure' 'temperature' and 'battery' and took some time to get to understand what was happening as it sort of created a panic when it 'beeped' at us, but we now have it sorted. Would not tow any distance without them now. Saves a lot of tyre kicking before start up each morning when travelling, just push the buttons and get a read out on each tyre.

I have them on my car and found that they also trigger false alarms when driving over corrugated dirt roads.
