I am after 2 x clipsal light switches, to match the switches I have in the photo. If anyone has some to sell, I'm keen to buy. Thanks Melani

Hi Melani
Depending on where you live you might have luck at the Hughes Renovators Paradise in Hughesdale, VIC. I was there only the other day and they had a lot of stuff that looks similar. You could call them and send a snapshot and see if they can help. Alternatively, there's a renovator's warehouse in Castlemaine, VIC as well. Check to see if there is a salvage place near you - take yours with and see how you go on a match.
Just be careful of old switches which will not be double pole and may not pass code - which is less important than not being dead! Middys Electrical (found all over Australia) have a big Clipsal catalogue and you can get a lot more through that than is often on the shelf. You can buy old looking dual/double pole plugs and switches which will keep you both fashionable and safe!
Cheers Seeshell

240v or 12v - For safety best to use double pole switches for 240v.
If yo have 12v & 240v lights why not use new double pole standard switch plates for the 240v lights and the old switch plates for the 12v lights.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will head to Middys and get switches for 240v and keep the old 12v. I hadn't even thought of doing that!!
To get the electrical compliance, I had to replace the power points with double pole, but the electrician told me there was no need to replace the light switches as they are double pole. Also I had a friend who is an electrician look at them and tell me that they are double pole.

To save money and Time How about using the New Rocker switch plates for the 12v Light circuits and as the Old switch plates are double pole use them for the 240v light circuits.
