We purchased this clipper from Warburton Vic its been reskinned and repainted. The interior looks pretty original except a couple of doors that have been replaced. The roof is fibreglass which has a rough finish The frame has surface rust.
We re going to resurface the fibreglass to smooth it out n repaint it We'll patch up the exterior skin and repaint the exterior back to the original pattern We're going to repaint the interior in a pastel colour and get new mattresses and cushions amongst other things
Tried to upload photos but it didn't work. i ll post them as soon as I work out how to do it cheers

Hi Gerrynshaz, Great to hear that you're the new owner of the Clipper. It will be great to see some photos, especially once you start work on it. Unfortunately it seems it isn't possible to upload photos to the forum using the 'Attachment' button at the moment. In any case a more satisfactory way to do it is via an online photo storage website such as Photobucket, Flickr, etc. Photos posted that way are larger and more permanent. There are instructions on how to do it in the 'Forum Guidelines & Helpful Hints' section of the forum. Unless you've got another preference, Photobucket is as easy as any of them. However, if you get stuck, give us a yell and someone will be able to help you. I'm interested in your comment about fibreglass on the roof of the van. South Australian caravan manufacturers did use fibreglass on their rooves, but not until the early 60's or thereabouts. Before that they used canvas on the roof which was then painted with a few coats of paint. It was a particularly South Australian thing to do, although one or two manufacturers in other states used a similar technique. I haven't seen your van, obviously, but I'm wondering if the roof of your van is actually painted canvas? It could look like fibreglass perhaps. Don Ricardo

Hi Gerry,
glad you found your way here.
We had a week in our Clipper in Beechworth last week. Had a ball, as you do in a Clipper!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As I said happy for you to come and have a look at mine anytime you need to.
I noticed on the Ebay listing that something funny was going on with the roof, it will be interesting to see what has been done.
Cheers,
Leigh.

Hi Don when I spoke to Jason (the guy we bought the van from) he said he tried to lay new fibreglass it came out a bit rough so I'm going to give it a sand and tidy it up. i don't know what was under it before that
