Hello everyone.
I'm new to this forum and to owning a vintage caravan so please excuse my lack of knowledge!
We've bought a 1968 Viscount. It's generally in good nick but the 12 volt system needs rewiring. Do people here know how best to access the wires behind the tail lights? Do you have to take off the aluminium panels or is there other access? We did notice a small square aluminium panel at the rear right held in by rivets and were wondering if this had anything to do with it (I had planned to upload a pic but the forum software wouldn't let me)
Also do people here know if the lights on the top sides legally need to be working, as well as the tail lights?
Thanks a lot,
Stef

Hey Stef - I've got a 1968 Viscount also. I don't know about how to access tail light wiring, but I do know if you want NSW rego for your van those side lights need to be working. Mine don't! Not much help there sorry!
