Started tackling the Carapark today, and this stamp is on some of the ply in the cupboard… Just wondering what I'm poisoning myself with (ya know, in addition to the black mould and the lead). As far as I can tell, it says… This plywood has been treated with A chemical preservative aproved by. —30—62— Forestry Commission Of NSW ?? Hi Justanotheramy
Boron was (and still is) used to treat wood to avoid wood bacteria which ends in rot. It's antimicrobial, but has very low toxicity for people and pets - similar to salt.
Can't speak about the paint on it though!

Well, that's something I guess. Still freaking out a bit about all the lead dust we must've inhaled today, but that's one less thing to worry about. Thanks
