Two members here used to own that caravan, it has no chassis number, they didn't have them in 1952.

This is the same "lipless" van from my earlier listing which I dated as late 54 or 55. This is confirmed by DR's advert from the 1955 Winser book which is the only advert I have seen for the "lipless" style. Either way nice to see it has survived. I was in the belief it had been sold by a previous owner to someone who wanted to use it as a cubby house! Don's 53 is no 241 and my 55 is no 369, based on this it probably should have a number under the right hand A frame member at the front and possibly between those two. To my mind it is a pity it has lost its signature Clipper livery, but hopefully the next owner will give it another paint job and return it to its former glory. A rare chance to join the Clipper Owners Club!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Does this mean we are COC's? ?) Leigh.

Good news Clipper Owners, the new owner of this one has contacted me.
He intends to restore to original, we will be getting together soon to have a look at mine and I will point him in the right direction and tell him of the forum.

That's great Leigh, It looks similar to mine so he is welcome to any help or information, where is he located? Won't it be great to park some clippers together. Had a fantastic time at Old Dadswell Town. Cheers Don.
