Hello all. I'm in Adelaide, and I'm a bit smitten (okay, a lot smitten) with this little van in Bendigo… www.ebay.com.au/itm/331636601974Even if could conveniently teleport myself to Bendigo I wouldn't really know what to look for in evaluating its condition. Seller says it's been resealed, has new brakes and wheel bearings, and new tyres… But I don't want to just take that on trust, and I know there are other potential issues as well. Are there any knowledgable Bendigo locals who could help me out? Pleeeease? Aside from those who apparently have already arranged to go have a look for themselves? (I don't want to impose on anyone's generosity, of course, but I'm sure we can negotiate a suitable token of my appreciation?) Thanks so much!

Hi, sorry but I cannot help with viewing.
However The van is not 1954 as listed, it is mid 1960's.
I am sure others will be able to help further.
Cheers.

Yes, got that, thanks Speculation is that it's a Hilandale… Looks pretty clearly mid-60s? I'm more hoping to find out if's in the condition claimed by the ad. If it is I'm not fussy about exact year, it's exactly what I'm looking for… depending on how much it ends up selling for, of course.

Ha! .co.uk ? Doubt they're *that* mobile…
It was suggested in another thread that I ask, so… here I am, throwing myself upon the mercy of the lovely VVers…

According to the listing…
"It was purchased to enable me to live on my father's farm to establish the base for a mobile petting farm business, but following a rather large and sudden falling out, I have no use for it anymore. I'm selling to recover my money as much as possible."
Hmpf. My little Quest is adorable, and I don't regret buying it, but… I had such a crush on that van. And to have lost it to someone who is selling is so soon!
