Hi Jude and Geoff Judy and I had a couple of free days so we took off with the van and new Triton (600klm on the clock) for a test run and relax at Shellharbour. We were lucky enough to get two warm sunny days although with a bit of a breeze which dropped off at nightfall. Quite nice for sitting outside chatting. Need a bigger van now as the Triton just seemed to shrug off the weight of the van........flew up the mountain to Robertson and even caught a couple of cars I thought it my duty to confirm that the quality of the ice cream shop is still fantastic and Salvadors fish and chips are unbeatable. We are looking forward to another great time in October at Shellharbour. Ken & Judy

Hi all, we have changed our booked to Waterfront Site 1W to accommodate the tent for the kids as it's all grass and a bigger site, so if you're quick you may be able to snavel up Waterfront Site 9W if you want. See you all next week, Monica and Shaun

They said the park is totally full for the weekend, I'm so looking forwards to it. Here's hoping the weather is nice. Oh and also, Julie said that the Pizza night is definitely on the Friday night, but for the Paella they need at least 20 orders. If you need numbers before Friday, count 3 of us in definitely, maybe 4. Thanks

Hi All, just back from our week at Shellharour and guess what, we had VERY ordinary weather for most of it ?. Still, it was a great week and it was lovely to meet some new vintage vanners , Jane and Justin and Monica and her sons , they have said they will be back next year, so we must have been fairly well behaved. Mark and Julie , the park managers are looking forward to us all coming back next year and they will be putting on a sausage sizzle lunch for us next year, in the new camp kitchen, they love having us all there. I didn't manage to take a single photo, so you will all have to wait for one of the other attendees to post some. Thanks to everyone for making it a great week, see you next year Jude and Geoff

True, the weather at Shell Harbour was not great every day, but the location is great so there are places to go and things to see. The photos I took of caravans was designed to show the awnings/annex people had so I'll put those photos in the appropiate thread. Saturday a young lady came down to entertain us (maybe it was a fashion photo shoot and we just happened to be there ) and it was a nice sunny day. And after lunch Yvonne and I went to the HARS Aviation Museum, I know not much about aviation history but you would only need to be a little bit smarter than me and you would come away full bottle on the history and workings of the aircraft in the museum because enthusiastic guides take small groups through the entire museum. Sunday another young fella came along to entertain us He did get it up much much higher than this photo shows Even higher than this photo shows All good fun, thanks George . Monday we drove out to Kangaroo Valley via Gerringong and the Cambewarra lookout, nice scenery and great excitement at Kangaroo Valley, but I'll post a photo of that on another thread [/a] Cambewarra Lookout, on a cloudy day. Happy hour the same day. Tuesday we went to Minnamurra Rainforest NP via Albion Park, Jamberoo and a few dead end back roads, nice country. All wheel chair and dicky knee friendly walks. From the Jamberoo Lookout as the mist rolled in. The view through our back window, nothing wrong with that aye?. It was a real good few days in spite of a bit of wind, and a bit of rain. Cobber.

Hi, Tim from Caravan & Motorhomes called me this morning to let me know that all the photos Dave took on the Friday morning have been edited and put together with the info we all sent him . He said the article looks good and will appear in volume 227 of the magazine , it will be released on January 14th 2016.
Looking forward to the magazine and seeing who makes the "editors cut"
