Hi All, Well I saw this poor old girl sitting forlornly alongside an old house and just couldn't leave her to her fate and had to save her. Born in 1968 and in need of major repairs she is home now - what to do? I will ponder while working on the 67. I will after these two get a Sunliner to "complete the fleet "- if the bank balance holds out!!! Look out Reddo I am sill looking for more and doing my bit so us fibreglassers can catch up on you bondys ;D ;D Then we can show the superiority of the sleek clean lines of fibreglass and convert the misguided in our midst. ;D ;D Cheers Tonyh.

Tonyh So glad to see someone with the desire to save these great vans. I live on a small sloping block so it isn't easy to get more than one van on the block. I have my eye on a Kennedy that is about two hours from home but refuse to look at it cause if i do....... Most likely it will be coming home with me. Read here I haven't got the money at the moment..... the times they will be changing. Your collection won't be complete without a Sunliner and a Kennedy Let the missus know and happy hunting. AAArrhhh Reddo I feel a threat coming from the Glasslands..... but I am a little worried .... TonyH did I see a tin van in the background of one of those photos? Atog

Hi Atog, Yep thats a 1974 Viscount 6 sleeper I bought about 10 years ago before I saw the light ;D - mods are new longer draw bar to fit twin 9kg gas bottles, battery, inverter, 150mm pole tube, box for awning, floor etc. Axle turned upside down to get greater clearance after bottoming out trying to get off the barge at Straddy on our first trip - holding up everyone until I disassembled the leveling bars, rear bumper bar for twin spares and bike rack - four new 14" caravan mags with light truck tyres. Set up so we can stay off the beaten track away from power for up to two weeks. Have had some good trips and will miss her when I finish the 67. Cheers, Tonyh.
