Short notice I know but if anyone wants to do a bit of summer exploring in the Snowy Mountains then you are welcome to join a few of us who are going to Old Adaminaby from Friday 20 Feb to Monday 23 Feb 2014.
Just ring the Rainbow Pines Tourist park direct on 02 64542317 to book and send me a PM to let me know. Just tell them that you are with Kens group and we are on Site 3.

Why not get out of the big smoke for a couple of days and try a bit of fishing or just wander around the mountains ??

I have been instructed that I have two other projects which must be finished before I commence restoration of the van. My interpretation of this instruction is that I am able to source materials but not actually touch the van sooooooo............. you better make sure all your chores are done before 20th feb, otherwise SHE might not let you go ken. geoff 'n jude

We passed that way on reddos autumn tour last year. The locals all came running out of their houses for photos....caused quite some interest so you should be made most welcome ken. Wish I could make it but off with the fishing club comp that weekend. Have a good one Jenno

Had a great long weekend at Old Adaminaby. A small group of two vintage vans plus three friends. Tooleyau is never one to miss an outing (or is that a drink) and bought along their Millard. Old Adaminaby Caravan Park is an old style park which is owned by a great couple and has great views of lake Eucumbene, it would be well worth a revisit. Maybe next time I can give more notice so that a few others can come along. There is a lot of history in this area and some very enjoyable day trips. Nothing like sitting around the camp fire on a warm starry night with a bunch of like minded people.
