1937 caravan manufactured by F B Gilbert as recorded in the Newcastle Morning Herald and Miners' Advocate, Tuesday 23 November 1937, p 10:

It is unclear from the article whether this van was a one-off or whether F B Gilbert built a number of caravans. However, the fact that the van was built to order for a customer in Sydney (as opposed to a local customer) may suggest that F B Gilbert had some sort of a reputation as a caravan builder, and therefore that he built more than one. Or not!
An interesting van with a lantern roof and unusual window layout nevertheless.
