Attachment DeletedHi Yes, our next project is a Carapark , all we have is a shell on a chasis. Its a 10.9 and the serial number is HJ871- Can any one tell me more details regarding this model? Also if anyone has a few spare bits that they would like to sell please let me know. In particular looking for topside indicator lights- I've heard of a place where they reproduce the plastic lens- anyone have an idea where they are based? I would like to restore as original as possible so if anyone can send me some pictures of the inside, would be appreciated. Wish me luck, I think I'm going to need it, that plus a handyman, complete with own tools. Don't think my pink tool kit will be adequate. Thanks Sharon

G'day Cluelesssharon, Good to hear you've got another V V project on the go. Regarding photos of the interior of a Ten-Nine, have you checked out the photos on the DHL Carapark thread? Try here. There's also another Ten-Nine on the thread, but it looks to be more of a custom built jobby - sort of like a travelling laboratory. Don Ricardo

G'day clulesssharron, I admire your ambition to restore the van 'as original as possible' Regarding the lens for the clearance lights..... there are links to all sorts of restoration bits..... great and small, if you go to the restoration parts suppliers list .... scroll down to the 'Lights interior and exterior' and take your pick from suppliers who have been recommended to us. There is also a fun thread on 'Stop,Turn & Tail lights' HERE.... if you go to page five of that thread you will see examples of the lens you need from one supplier. Cobber.

I have two - 10 /9 toasters but niether had those clearance lights. I also have two 12/9's and the second one has the same clearance lights that you have shown. Some of the lenses are broken/brittle so I have cast a mould from the remaining ones and will pour them in coloured polyester when I have some time (....won't be for a while as I am busy working on the 10/9s at the moment) , probably the only way to get replacements I think. On my first 12/9 I put these Hella clearance lights on it as it was the 'best' I could find at the time. Attachment Deleted
