I was looking for a cheaper Teardrop to do up as i wanted a bed and kitchen on wheels for camping and found and purchased this Van from a ebay seller a week ago, picking it up on Thursday, have searched high and low on the internet and unable to find another picture or information about it. Rego papers say 1972, Has a steel Viscount rear bar and a decal with Avondale on it. Thats all i have till i pick it up. Can any member shed some light on this one at all? Once completed it will be towed behind my Holden WB One Tonner 4x4 Overlander Cheers John.

Hi John, Your van is a Viscount explorer camper trailer converted into a pop top ! First time I have seen that done on a Viscount. It's would have originally been the small 6 berth version,so you can now look around and see what it looked like when new. Hope this helps you and good luck with your restoration. Cheers hughdeani

Thanks Hughdeani.
Found just a couple of pictures searching the net. I did not pick up last week as a radiator blew on me, now fixed and being picked up Monday, after attending the Wallan swap meet on Sunday. So i hope to learn more about this Camper Van real soon.
Cheers John
