313royal,
Those two look as though they were built for each other. The colour treatment on the sides looks great, the oval window is above the cooking area is it ?.
Enjoy.
Cobber.

Hi 313royal these pair are made for each other. Dare i say "A marriage made in detroit" ;D The shape from the waist up at the back of the van is very similar to the rear pillar / rear window on the royal. Well colour coordinated too. What sized "Donk" is in the Chrysler Reddo

Thanks all for your kind comments, I have to say from the outset that the inspiration for painting came from this forum; there are some fabulous rigs about the place
firefighter - inside pics to come, originally the exterior was white over blue & so the interior has a blue & yellow scheme. We are reluctant to change it as we believe this is original hence you may wonder about our colour coordination tastes, but we figure you can only view one aspect at a time so we will leave it as is
cobber - yes the oval window is above the sink, you may notice the external water filler neck just below, it came to us with a Mopar radiator cap fitted which we feel is appropriate
geoff`n jude - we are novices at this VC business & intend a couple of big trips this year so it may turn out with divorce which means not planning too far ahead. But I would like to entertain the Mount G.idea, we are still both in the Mon - Frid work practice so getting time off together is sometimes difficult
reddo - the venerable 313 V8 pulls it all along; at some cost I might add

OK Jailbar thanks for the encouragement I would like to think we could develop a slick routine for loading up & heading off into the blue, it would help to take advantage of short notice outings.

I love seeing a Royal out there. I love the whole outfit. It made me quite jealous except the cost (fuel that is). I'm with some of the others Chris, can you put up photos of the inside?

The best way i found from the helpful people on this great site they said email all the Caravan spare parts places and you might be lucky like i was with finding mine on the murrumba star. I know the place where i got mine from said they had a few old decals but they are only good for a templat as their age This is the Site of where i got mine www.arrowcaravans.com.au/Hope you have the same luck as i did as it makes all the diffrence having on

Credit for the interior must go to the previous owners, apart from fitting new curtains this was how we bought it; also came with fridge & electric brakes which obviously were fitted later in life.

Hi VVers had our first weekend outing to Milang on the shores of Lake Alexandrina here is the Globetrotter in all its domestic glory. What a great way to spend a few days, can see us doing it again Whilst there spotted this gem looking a little unloved, Trailmaster 15 I think

I passed your van on the way up the freeway on saturday. I was in a blue EK wagon. Great looking set up ;D I tried to get a picture. Just read your thread and in regards to the missing decal just take a good quality picture to a signwriter and they can paint or computer cut one for you. As you are from Adelaide I would try READ Brothers at Thebarton.

As you know it is getting hard to keep up with all the new faces on the caravan site. Went to Birdwood to stay at the coach-house, part of a prize we won at the R'n'R rendezvous last year with the van and EK. I'm sure we will cross paths soon Cheers retro1
