Hi all, This post shows you how to: - Preview yours posts before you publish them on the forum
- Edit your posts after they've been published.
PREVIEWING YOUR POSTThere are two buttons in the 'Create Post/Create Thread' window which allow you to preview your post before you publish the post. They are marked '1' and '2' below: The 'Preview' button (1) shows you how your post will look once its published. This next image shows you what happens when I pressed the 'Preview' button when creating this post: Note that you can edit your post in the 'Preview mode' if you just need to do simple things like correcting a spelling error or adding a sentence. However, if you need to do something a bit more complicated you are better to press the 'BBCode' button (2) which returns you to the normal 'Create Post' window. This next image shows you what happens when I pressed the 'BBCode' button: Note that you can go back and forth between 'Preview mode' and 'BBCode mode' until you are satisfied with your post and are ready to publish it on the forum by pressing the 'Create Post/Thread' button. EDITING YOUR POSTIf you have published your post and want to change it or add to it, you can do so by pressing the 'Edit' button marked '3' below: Pressing 'Edit' takes you back into the 'BBCode' mode where you can make whatever changes you want before pressing the 'Save Changes' button to publish your amended post. If any of this seems confusing, feel free to ask any questions you may have. It's all reasonably simple once you work out which buttons to press. Don Ricardo
