I was in Spotlight yesterday and spotted some fabric featuring some current photos of Aussie caravans (pics obviously taken off the internet).....I didn't have a camera unfortunately ....and I didn't buy any, (in hindsight I should have just so I could share it). The print is quite poor...(very pixelated, and only small images) but worth grabbing if your caravan is on it...from memory it has the little pink and white caravan (the pic at the beach with the deck chairs and umbrella), a red kennedy?, a cream and red Quest, a franklin, the country road caravan, a sunliner (possibly white with the blue flash)...and a few more. Sorry I have no idea who owns these caravans but if you are nearby it might be worth checking out (I am now 330Ks from a store). It has a couple of USA made vans too, ie a Shasta. No Driftwood unfortunately! Sorry again for not buying some to share, I just wasn't thinking! I cant see any pics of it online anywhere. Maybe someone else has some and can share a pic! Leesa.

G'day Leesa, At the "Museum of the long weekend" in Canberra there were two different fabrics people said they got at Spotlight, one was pretty good and the other was too "busy" for my liking...... naturally I took a photo of the one I didn't like .. and not the one I liked Is this the one you saw ? Neither had Driftwood on 'em, so I would have bought the other one if I could find it....... I've just about had a gut full of this Driftwood stuff Cobber

Hi Cobber
Some material with cars might be in order to go with the vans? The quilting shop across the way from Spotlight at Campbelltown has this one featuring FJs. Also comes on a blue background, and they have another with a selection of 'Aussie' (60s American and British) cars and one with European cars, $22 a metre though.

G'day Seeshell,
No that's not it, the one that was shown to us at the MOTLW was all caravans... no cars.
Cobber.

Hmm Well I did a bit more digging - and I see this fabric. Is this the one you mean? It seems to have Driftwood on it, so I figured it might be in the hunt... Yes? No? Cheers Seeshell

HELL'S BELLS ! Where did you find that one Seeshell ( not that I would want to buy any of it )..... No that's not it either. I think the two we were shown at MOTLW were bought from Spotlight at Dubbo in the "dress fabric" department.... phone calls were made and they had sold out of both & our local Spotlight hadn't seen either of them. Now the darkish one has resurfaced but not the other one....... Yet . Cobber

Hi all, At Canungra I was the lucky recipient of 2 cushions made out of that caravan fabric (in the first photo) as a Christmas present. They were made lovingly for me by another forum member and I consider myself very lucky to have been given them. I think I recognise a couple of the vans on the material - they belong to forum members (or ex members). Now that the material is on sale, I should buy some more, so I can make tie backs for our next van. Regards Di
