Hi all, This is just to let you know that the broken links in the Down History Lane section INDEX have now all been fixed, apart from two minor links for which I can't find the connections . The problems arose because at some point, Proboards changed the format of the URL addresses they use to identify the threads within the forum. Please note, however, that there are still a number of links in the DHL threads themselves that are broken. I will attempt to fix these as I am able. Don Ricardo

DHL INDEX UPDATEG'day everyone, This is just to let you know that there has been a further update to the Down History Lane Index. Under the previous version of Proboards we were limited to 60,000 characters per individual post. The DHL Index reached that 60,000 character limit in November, so I was unable to add any extra items. The new version of Proboards on which the Vintage Caravans forum now operates (as of 7 January) doesn't have any limit on the size of posts, so that meant that I could carry out all the updates. One other change to note is that the names of caravan manufacturers/brand names are in blue (as was the case previously). However, topics and cross references are now in black. Hopefully that will assist people in finding what they are looking for, particularly if they are looking for a manufacturer, brand name or topic starting with the word 'caravan'. If you look at the index you'll see what I mean! Don Ricardo

G'day Don R, Many thanks for all the time you have spent recently on the Down History Lane thread, and a special thank you to Donna Ricardo for mowing the grass.... washing the cars.... fixing the leaking tap...and doing all the other jobs a bloke should do instead of playing on the computer and that "silly forum" I sort of know the feeling..... I've almost finished a new Index for the Tow Coupling Thread.....but that has only taken one day, I know you have been working on DHL for weeks...... and weeks but it is a resource on the forum that many people refer to often..... even if they don't say so Cobber.
