Over the Melb Cup long weekend, Jan & I (along with 4 other couples) were away in our Caravans (not the Vintage Van variety) up near Swan Hill. By word of mouth, I was told about this Don which has been shedded for the past 39 odd years … last Rego was in 1974. Apart from an ample coverage of dust (both internal & external) "she" appeared to be in pretty good order. As I could only really see the front and 1 side, there did not appear to be any rot … however there are a few missing bits 'n pieces. As it turns out, "she" is for sale and I'm currently in discussions with the owner. If however, nothing eventuates with the sale, and if anyone is interested, then please send me a PM and I'll keep you "in the loop". "She" is build no 593 which dates "her" as approx 1951-'52 Max

G'day Max
Looks like a good one, should be fairly easy to get her on the road. Best of luck with whatever happens with the deal.
Cheers...........ST

Thanks to everyone who responded so positively …. I'm pleased to say that, as of a few hours ago, "she" now has a new owner -- me!!
Doesn't get much better than to have a Don 140 & a Don 150, side by side in the shed!
Hope to pick "her" up over the next few weeks.
Max
