Hi Archy, I've corrected the address for the photo in your post so that it shows properly. I also noted that you posted a photo of the van you're interested in on 2 October here. You got quite a few replies there. Did you see people's comments? As Firefighter has said it is against forum policy to comment on prices. There are a few reasons for that, but one is that it is impossible to tell the condition of a van from photos, even if it looks solid. You need to be able to crawl all over it and under it to check it out, and to look for any signs of possibly hidden rot that can occur even when the van has been kept in a shed (from holes in the roof of the shed, etc). In addition, there is no price guide for vintage caravans like there are for (non-vintage/classic) cars. The price a van sells for depends on how much the buyer is willing to pay, and how much the seller is willing to accept. In this case, the van you've found is a classic rounded vintage van shape with a lot of unusual features. So the question is, how much does it appeal to you, and are you willing/able to pay the price the seller is asking? Having said all that, when this forum started you could pick up a van in good condition just requiring a freshen up for a couple of hundred dollars, and a van which had been refurbished for a couple of thousand. Now it is very rare or lucky to be able to get a van for those sorts of prices. I'll let you draw your own conclusions from that. You mention the cost of getting the van from where it is, to where you are. If you give us a general idea of where the van is and where you are, and whether the van needs to be trailered or not, somebody may be able to give you an idea of what it might cost in transporting. Good luck with your decision making. Let us know what you decide. Don Ricardo
