Hi all Some goose forgot to close his hatch on the weekend and blew off one side of the four seasons hatch So ... looking on the bright side I will make a temporary repair on the four seasons hatch while I work on replacing it with something more "period" - a "proppa timba" hatch like its supposed to have - if I can track down some "period hardware" to hang it off. So if anyone has the fittings for a timber hatch approx 650mm square that they might have salvaged out of something I would be interested. The van never had any part of the hatch when I got it, so I will need everything, arms / struts and catches. The space it goes in looks like this: The aluminium spacer will come out just leaving the square(ish) timber frame. Would prefer something that will lift the whole thing up rather than an angled set up, something 60's, and all from the same van. I haven't made the hatch yet so i am flexible with how its made - so I can adapt to whatever I can get my hands on. I do wonder though ... maybe the original hatch was metal? Al??? Cheers and thanks Doug
