Hi, Wondering if anyone can help us out please - looking for an internal light and an external light too. Hoping to match the interior light fitting we have for our Olympic that we are doing up. If anyone has one for sale?? Or if you have a matching pair of similar nice patterned lights?? Also, needing to find an exterior light for next to the door, just a plain white one would do. PM us if you have anything to offer. Thanks. Linda and Peter.

I have this one: Diameter 25cm ( metal base part) . Would need to slightly modify for 12v to fit.

Hi Linpet Most electrical retailers with a lighting section carry fittings very similar to that... They are called "oyster fittings" . as already mentioned you will need to modify them and mount a bracket inside to take a 12volt lamp holder... Other alternative .. Google caravan repairers.. wreckers in your area.
There is Hobsons ( spelling?) van dismantler at Redhead here in Lake Macquarie .
Regards Reddo

Thanks everyone.
Shesgotthelook - Thank you, but if I can't match the current fitting, I would need 2 matching fittings - do you have 1 or 2?
Rattles - Yes, had seen the replacement glass in plain - but I also need another base, and don't really want the new modern bases, would prefer the old fashion type, and if possible not plain white oyster for inside - love the old pattern of the original one. Outside I don't mind plain, but also need an old fashion base - (currently has a broken yukky modern plastic thing on it!)
Reddo - Have looked at the lights available new, and they all look a bit too modern for the old girl. We don't have many caravan wreckers around here, but am keeping my eye open - something will turn up.
Thanks, Linda.

Hi Lyn & Peter,
I know I have a couple of bases out of my 21ft Olympic which I wont be using - I might even have the oyster glass. I can't check for a couple of days as I'm away, but as soon as I get back I'll let you know what I have.
Cheers Greg

Thanks Greg, that would be good. Could swing past next time we come to Bris if ok.
Also, the exterior light - is it actually different to the internal? The external on our Kennedy doesn't look different except it has a little drain hole in the bottom - could we use an internal fitting and drill a hole in it?
Thanks.

Back again.
It appears I have 2 bases only and there are no mounts for the lights - no glass either. I must of raid it more than I thought for the Debonair.
I would describe them as fair. No dents and the anodisation is a little flaky at the edges on one. One would clean up OK but the other borderline for recon.
Yours if you want. $0.00
Cheers
