Hello, Early this year I purchased an 11 :-[foot van which featured in one of Harriet's postings some years back. Whilst described as a Globe, I am not sure of actual make. Front and rear panels had been covered with alloy corrugated. Interior good with origianl sink, ice chest and fittings. I have removed the alloy panels, rebushed the springs with new u bolts and tyres. Layout is table at rear to convert to DB. Mattress for front bed there, but this had been used as shelf area. Front window was covered up, as per photo. I have four classic cars all demanding time, so I feel unable to complete this project. I paid $1200 for the van and have spent some money on it, but would like to recover a reasonable amount for it from an enthusiast who can restore and use it, rather than some one who wants to make a $ out of it. Happy to send more photos to those interested. Situated on the Yorke Peninsula, 150km north of Adelaide

G'day mandamus, If the van you are talking about is this one here I hope somebody takes up your offer and buys it.......... And restores it. Is it in a similar state of repair as it was back in 2008.... what was it like under the aluminium ? Cobber.

Yes, it is the one you've pictured. Since then, some changes were made as regards the rear window. Under the ali, there was some of the old bondwood left, but that really needed to come out, as did a lot of other bits that had patched up the van.
