Hi I'm going to check this van out tomorrow. Purchased new by the owners father but has been leaking. Any idea on the make and year? I'll look on the drawbar for numbers. Cheers Brian

Hi Brian - quick look I'd say would be a Viscount, judging by the curved front windows, numbers on the drawbar would help, and possibly a look at the rear taillights. My guess and only that is an early to mid 60's model.

Hi Crown115, It's a Kings van built in Queenstown, SA. The tell tale identifying mark are the three chrome stars at the end of the side flash (well done to Olfarts for working that out). Not sure about the year though. There's more info on Kings caravans here. We'll look forward to hearing more once you've checked the van out. Good luck with the visit, Don Ricardo

Thanks Don and Ian and Steph, It says Crestline on it and has Palm beach written faintly as well with a picture of a palm tree. Definitely looks like the ones on your link Don. The owner wants to sell it as it was his late Fathers (who bought it new) and he doesn't like seeing it slowly deteriorate. He has to contact his siblings first to agree. There is minor water damage. I'll know by next weekend and update and get some more pics. Price will be $500. My cousin is the one gonna buy it and enter the VV world! Cheers Brian
