I am on the look out for a cheap tow car for the caravan. I've had my eye on Morris Minors as they are reasonably cheap. I started a catering business with my restored van but getting quite annoyed with the constant un-hooking of my car and so I figured I should buy a cheap old car to tow it. Do you know of any for sale? ? In in Canberra ACT but willing to travel a bit or have it towed here. Any help would be appreciated!

G'day Jayboy2208 You put your ad on twice....i have moved the second ad over to the admin section In your first ad you posted...... you mention I have restored and use as a catering business and for photo shoots. Jayboy this forum does not support vintage caravans being used for commercal use unless it was built as a commercal van pre December1969 From our guidlines vintagecaravans.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=hints&action=display&thread=6477cheers f/f ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thanks ff for the info! ;D
I had no idea the forum doesn't support working vans so I am happy for my posts to be removed.

Hi jayboy 2208,
Actually the rules state that modifying a vintage van for commercial use is not acceptable. For the purists, this forum is about retaining the heritage of vintage vans. I believe if your van is a faithful restoration and you are using it to transport your wares to markets and using your van to attract customers, l don't believe there would be a problem, particularly if you use your van for outings and holidays.
Cheers, Oz
