Hi all!!! I have a homemade 1969 van,& am chasing a part(am I looking for a needle in a haystack? Lol). The piece is a long straight piece at the top of the window(kind of has a lip/that sticks out about an inch or so).& some channelling.Made out of Alluminium & length is 1120mm.I believe there is a guy that wrecks vans in Brisbane, named Tony Cutts but after much research I cannot find his number!!! I hope this makes sense to someone,as I've just finished repairing wood rot & would really love to have the window back in the old girl!!! Any info or leads to this part would be very greatly appreciated!!! cheers Kym

Sounds like you want what is called aluminium J (from the end it's shaped like a little j) mould. It's available at any caravan accesory supplier. Not too sure, but maybe Tony Cutts closed after the Highway widening??? He really only used to sell old vans, rather than spares.

Still searching!!! Nope!!! I've been to 5 van repair joints here on Gold Coast & no such luck!!! The piece is out of a push out window(aluminium)& it's the straight hinged piece with screw holes in it.....having a devil of a time trying to source one!!!
