After some serious negotiations with the bloke we sold an old EJ wreck to, for a couple of bags of chook wheat we got the towbar back. Towbar fitted & painted, hooked her up & we're away! Did realize we haven't got an electrical plug on the car, but one can't rush these things. It all sits a bit low, not sure whether to remove the lowering blocks from the car or add something Here she is ready to be towed to the canvas man to make the awning. I stuck my arm out the window on the corners & my son said 'stop it Mum, you look stupid!'

Looks great. Really like the shape of that rear window and the open shelf across the front. The crocheted blankets are cool too

Thanks Max, we love it to bits! Ray, I bought the cage at an antique shop for $10. We have a tame cockatiel but this cage is too small, also have about 30 aviary budgies. I'm always going to pull a fledgling one day & hand rear it. Have seen a lot of folks travelling with their bird. Although i advised one couple to put theirs away at Timber Creek due to the huge hawks hanging around the campsite.
