I know I've put out an APB in the Rowvan thread, but just in case it gets drowned there, I thought I would make a separate thread The reason I went to the big smoke on Monday was to see if I could get some indicators/tail-lights for the van. I have some partial lights that I would like to use, IF I can get the missing bits. Will try oldlucas, but thought I might also put out an APB in case someone with an overflowing shed may even be able to scrounge what I need. A couple of pics of the lights They are Lucas lights. The lens on the left is numbered L539 and I have a pair of the lens and cover only. Plan to use it for indicators (assuming I can get an orange globe). I wonder if anyone has a couple of complete bases? The chrome bit has an external diameter of 81mm. The one on the right is numbered L551. I have complete sets for two, but believe that you can also get a chrome trim that matches the one on the left. If I could find a pair of those trims, it would be even better. The internal diameter of that chrome bit is also 81mm. I believe they come off an MG Magnette and (I think) Lotus. I was offered an MG Magnette only recently - maybe I should get a trailer and buy the whole car just for the lights Ray

G'day Ray, Lovely lights, loads of character. When looking for old Lucas gear for my Austins I try Ebay UK. There is often loads of NOS gear availible. Be sure to note who is selling a lot of lights and check out their particular store. Often you can type in your Lucas numbers and come up with the goods. Postage from the UK is not shocking either...often cheaper than driving halfway round the country looking for stuff! All the best Cheers Bruce

Hi Bruce I have checked these lights on the UK ebay and they are 70 GBP EACH plus postage and handling. Was hoping for something a bit better price-wise. Don't suppose you know Richard Flint? Has a B and B in your town Ray
