I've been sitting on this one for a while and finally found time to pick her up......I'm pretty busy now that I'm retired We were informed of the location, and fortunately one could not see it from the road When we were able to see the van a bit closer , it looked a bit 'ordinary'... . Now we have it home and it now reveals it wonderful features. ie, Lantern roof and twin stacks..........just like a V8 Mack!! The front of the van has a line........to keep rain off the front. Note the 'tunnel boot' at the rear....very popular nowadays. For Cobber.....Check out the size of the tow ball and hitch I am having heaps of problems getting these photos across.........I will let the computer have a little rest and come back to it later with interior shots. BTW This van has been waiting for me all this time just 5 klm from home!! Interior.....look at all the drawers etc. to the rear of the van. to the front of the van And a 3 burner Kero stove 5 of these beauties in here All 21 doors & drawers use these latches. The original owner is extremely happy that the van will be restored to its former glory...........rather than it deteriorate.........like most bondwoods do.

Hi humpty2, What a lovely hidden treasure you've found. We will look forward to seeing what you do with it. You can never have too much drawer space, lucky for you because it looks like you'll never be short of it ;D cheers retro64

G'day humpty, That's a rare looking thing aye? Home made for certain sure I think but again.. by somebody who knew what he was doing, what do you think ? I doubt that it will be loved as much as "Janorma", not at your place anyway Thanks for what looks like a highly modified "Henderson" tow coupling, how about putting a decent photo of it in the Tow coupling thread :PCobber.

A great find there Humpty!! Love it!! I must say that lantern roof is a bit wasted, it should be exposed and have leadlight panels inserted ;D ;D ;D I notice cobber didn't comment on the original towel rails Ray

Hi Humpty 2,
Nifty looking van. Cupboards galore. Love the light fittings, they look similar to the bottoms of the old glass art deco lights. Looks a treat, will enjoy watching you do this project.
Congrats Des and Kel
