Hi all, I'm just starting on a tear drop build and would like some advise on a good wood glue to use mainly when i join the walls to the floor. It will be screwed as well. Thanks .

;D Hi Brandy. Have built a couple of replica TD's . I recommend sikaflex. It has a high bond strength and you will get away with using half as many fixing screws as you would using wood glue. If you want to use any other form of adhesive i would also recommend. Selleys liquid nails.

I screwed steel angle iron onto the floor then glued and screwed the walls to that. Probably overkill but it has lasted well.

Thanks for advice, I have used liquid nails before but wasn't sure of its strength, required on the wall to floor fixing. the sikaflex sounds like the one to use, is there a special brew that I will need. Our local store is full of young guys and they don't seem to have the knowledge of a lot of the products in the store, that is where you guys come in . thanks
