8-)OK Folks, It's about time we got the ball rolling on another Canungra get to-gether. Canungra is the premier Vintage Caravan event for Queensland so come along and enjoy a fantastic week end ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D date is 16th/17th November. The plan for this year is the same as last year ( if it's not broke why fix it ? ) We're using the same catering mob as last year and the same DJ for your entertainment Santa for the kids ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Remember to wrap a present for your child with their name so santa can hand them out on the night. "Ilsa's giveaway table" How GOOD is that ? Bring along your surplus trash and treasure for the table. A bank account has been opened to bank the dosh in so we can pay those that are going to do the hard work while we all have a GREAT time Cost of the catering for Saturday night and the DJ is all inclusive, $30 per adult...$12.50 for kids under 10 years.....under 4 free Please PM for the bank deposit details and please put your name on the deposit transfer/slip so we know who has paid what. Fancy dress again as last year was a hoot. This year's theme is a Pirate theme so come along and enjoy the party. Let's get the ball rolling for another great week-end at Canungra. Cheers Bob and Jacqui.

Hi Bob & Jacqui, Thanks for getting the ball rolling on Canungra. The caterers always do a good job, it's great not having to do all the prep work and cooking ;D ;D Also the addition of the DJ into the mix last year, seemed to go down very well. All the best Di

G'day all ..........Thanks Bob & Jacqui and Banno for your effort to date for Canungra 2012 . Is there a minimum number of bums on seats again to keep the price at $25.00 per meal, will this be the maiden trip for dosse's Bedford maybe. Would be great to have some vvaners from the other state's come and see how we enjoy the great south east. Regards dosse & Ilse.

G'day Dosse, Yes the 80 minimum still applies but we have faith that we'll get over that number. The Canungra week end has grown each year since it started (thanks to the older members who came up with the venue and started the whole thing) It will be good to see the Bedford make an apperance Cheers Bob and Jacqui

Hi,
I'm doing a feature story on good, affordable short breaks for a Caravan & Motorhome magazine sister publication.
I'm thinking about including this event and wonder if anyone has high resolution images and might like to be included in the story.
If so, please call or email me. If unsure if your photos are high res, please email me on so I can take a look. Ta!

Can you please clarify the days and dates for the Conungra Christmas run. I've been there to visit someone before but have my own van now and would love to attend. The dates mentioned here are Friday and Saturday! Is this correct?.

Hi Gadgetgalkath.
I think Firefighter got that a little confused.
Firstly the avatar is part of the picture at the left of the thread, & there are 2 symbols below the picture, or on their own if no picture posted.
The left one is clicked on if you want to send the member an email, & the right one clicked on if you want to send a Personal Message.
Personal messages are a good way to privately communicate between members. When you log in, you will see a message right at the top of the screen, saying "Hey, (whoever you are), you have.... messages, ... are new.
That is how you know someone has messaged you. By clicking on the highlited message, it will open your message section for you.
Hope that helps.
To get the payment details for Canungra, go on the thread & read it. Its clearly spelled out, & you then follow the instructions & contact Bobandjacqui who are looking after the bookings.
hope you make it there, its a good function, one of the longest running ones on our Vintage Caravan Forum list of events.
