G'day Reddo,
I'm not a glass expert by any means, but I think that the three piece window in the front of the Sunliner indicates that it is actually a Gracemur built in Bundaberg. That may or may not be a plus for anyone interested in it - a Sunliner by any other name, is...just a bit different! ;D ;D ;D

Do they float.... ... i just might have a use for it. or ......perhaps a set of wings and a VW motor could be incorporated somehow.... " flyingross".. "the spruce gross"... no that was the spruce goose you bonehead.... oooops .. sorry On a serious note.... ( is that possible??).. I would have considered tackling this van as a project.... yup... you heard me .. the "Pres of the royal society for the preservation of bondwood caravans"... sayin he would "turn "for a fobbergross van after all these years. What am i saying?? I have owned 3 sunliners and 1 Olympic Debonair over the past 8 years... but never for too long. Lts consider the positives about Craigs van. Relatively close to home .. 4 hours drive Relatively cheap Easy to rescue Bugga all Tupperglass damage that i could see. Outside looks worse than it actually is.. has been sanded back to the matty furry stuff ( i aint fobbergross literate ) in a few places. Inside looks better than it actually is ( water damage from leaking window seals effecting internal ply ) Chassis appears sound with only surface rust Only thing that's stoppin' me is the cost of "rewindowing and the rubbers "that are required to suit the curved perspex/lexen windows. Now ... ifn they had timber windows... ...weeeeeellllllllllllll then .. it would have been an easy peasy project aye. Nup..... i will leave it ta someone to grab a bargain. If someone from another state is keen on it and ends up buying it i could probably go rescue it and park it down the backyard ( in a special nuclear holocaust /infectiuos deseases /quarantine /holding compound with a brown paper bag over it ;D ;D ;D) until they can arrange to come and drag its carcass away Reddo.. all creatures great and small.

Assuming the sunliner/Gracemur is still available...
I know what I'm about to ask might sound crazy but I'm getting desperate:
Does anyone have an opinion on what it'd cost to ship that sunliner/Gracemur to Brisbane and more to the point what it might cost to get someone to professionally sort the chassis, running gear and shell ?
I don't want the interior. Ideally I want a sunliner shell that I can fit out with a longitudinal queen bed and small kitchenette across the front. I know that isn't origional, but at least I'd take on the resto...which is better than it rotting or going to the tip...?
If it's still available I'd very much like the owners contact details...

Fair enough.
I've been trying to sort a solution for some time now, I've even looked at things like the T@B 320's and freedom microlite (etc). There seem to be a million little caravans in the UK but none out here apart from the lovely vintage examples. I've even looked at the little teardrops.
Sigh. I've had my eye on sunliners for years, should have bought one before they got so rare.
