Looks awesome - you'd never know it was the same van you started with. Are they the original doors refinished or did you have to make replacements? Looking forward to more pics. Are you going to put the Caravelle insignia back on?

All the doors are original except the wardrobe so i had a new one made and painted the same red as the outside, both caravelle bakerlite signs are on and now she is home just waiting on the upholsterer to finish his things ( squabs , awning track and stone guard ). but i have a problem with the door as it fits snugly without any rubber seal around it or hinges but as soon as the hinges were attached there are gaps all over the place , so temporary fix has been to put large rubber around door and wait until we can find a better solution. i will post a couple of photos tomorrow of the front and back.

My door is the same, and as far as I can tell neither the door nor the frame has been damaged over the years, so perhaps they were all a bit like that. Did yours have any form of rubber seal originally? I would have thought there'd have to be something, even if only to protect the paintwork. Anyway, Para Rubber have various seals that include a squashable rubber tube arrangement. I'm hoping one of those will do the trick. Let me know if you've found a better solution Congratulations on getting your van home ;D

Looking lovely - what a transformation from the sad and dirty van on TM not that long ago. Looks great with the Caravelle plate back on the front Would love to see it in person one day. No further progress on mine but I've got some time off work coming up so hoping to find some caravan time I'm only about a year behind schedule LOL.
