Hi all, John and I went to this event last year and had a blast. It got very, very cold out there, as in ice on the cars overnight and the showers weren't too good (I think the water was frozen in the pipes!!!), but all in all it was a great weekend. We are definitely going again this year.

Hi All,
I think any event that wants vintage vans to be present should be put on our calenders.
Regardless of the already organised events.
As Banno said, there could be some close to those functions that couldnt make it to the other previously or later organised one.
Theres so many of us out there now, we really need to consider our presence being in more than one place at a time,
We are spread in the SE Qld group between Macksville in NSW to the Northern end of the sunshine Coast, north of Noosa, & out west to Chinchilla.
Thats probably bigger than Mexitoria & Taswegia added together (But who would bother checking, your calculator would freeze into your hand down there)
I think having several smaller groups operating together, but independently, up here could work out well.
Gets some of us out of the others pockets.
My thoughts anyway

I think there is nothing wrong with going separate ways sometimes. There are so many events on we have trouble choosing what to do. We love the VV group and have met some of the nicest people, but sometimes we like going to a Rod Run because of the cars and activities. We can't always go to everything but wish we could. We will see you all as much as we can. Cheers John
