This next issue of classic cars has a print of a page from the 1952 Open Road (must have come as a newspaper/letter back then) with a feature article on the release of the 48/215. Also has a couple of VV adverts...one for jenno pathfinders and one for Henderson caravan chassis - I presume of henderson 2 wheel dolly fame. Left it at work, I will send donR a scan tomorrow for posting regards jennison ....next day ..sorry I forgot to grab it..remember tomorrow(I Hope)

Sorry I haven't got back with this. I was standing on a sawhorse changing a flourotube in the shed when I decided to try a spot of skydiving. severed a tendon in my shoulder and haven't been back to work since. I will try and get the mag tomorrow when I stop in there. jennison

I have finally emailed DonR the article - it will appear shortly Apart from the VV adds the 48/215 article should I imagine be of great interest to many of our old holden towcar owners jennison

Also in this current issue, a feature article on the results of the 2010 Peking to Paris International rally, and you can notch one (actually two) up for the aussies! Ist place in category 4(1941 to 1955) and 4th overall in the classic car section was a 48/215 and.....(kingy you'll love this!! ) 1st in category 5(1955 to 1968) and 1st OVERALL in the classic car section was .......EH HOLDEN ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Class of 64 does it again ;D ;D ;D jenno
