Hi, Well here we go again. I was offered to take ownership of this great old van which has been previously seen on this forum. The previous owners are moving and new i was keen so scraped up some dollars and her she is. Arriving on the back of forum member Bugsy's truck Unloading Interior Interior Marvins Cousin? Getting to know Gidget the Globetrotter and Mayballene the Mayfair. Moved Penelope P Propert to the other end of the shed so she would not be scared. This van has been discussed on this forum before and would seem to be a scaled up copy of plans in Modern Mechanix 1938. Suspension is lopsided from years on sitting on unlevel ground. Will have to get some clues from members who have 1930's vans as to interior finishes, styles etc. Wish me luck Cruz

G'day Cruz, I do wish you luck.... I think this 'van has been through a couple of hands and looks as though nothing much has been done with it. It's up to you now to restore her to what she should look like, it certainly deserves to be saved...I have faith that you can do it Do you know when it was actually built ? Cobber.

G'day Cruz, What a fantastic addition to your "Collection" - can't call it anything else when there are four of them... ;D ;D ;D It's such a unique van and so 30's in style that it's well worth looking after, which I know you will do. Don Ricardo

HI YA LEANNE , I REMEMBER THIS LITTLE JIGGER FROM ACOUPLA YEARS AGO . IT WAS STUCK ON A SLOPE IN A TIGHT BACKYARD AND UNDER A HOUSE'S DECK FROM MEMORY. I CANT REMEMBER WHO IT WAS THAT RESCUED IT BUT THEY HAD TO DO IT TOUCH BY WINCHING IT UP AN EMBANKMENT NEXT TO THE HOUSE . GREAT PHOTO'S WERE ALSO TAKEN AND SHOWN HERE. IT'S A DETERMINED LITTLE VAN NOT TO DIE . THIS VAN REMINDS ME OF A TIMBER VERSION OF "MARVIN" . CHEERS ' 8-)MAURIE
