I found your website as a link on www.rccf.net, (the French Classic Caravan Club), and after a few difficulties getting accepted, have finally managed to join.
(Thanks for your help Mark, as I suspected it was due to your forum provider having problems with emails to AOL accounts)
My name is Brian Miller, I live in Essex UK, and have a 1978 Safari 14/2 caravan that I tow behind my 1970 Volvo Amazon. (A bit new for your site, but the marque was in production from 1948-1982 and my model was made from 1962-1981)
There are photos of Safari Caravans, my outfit, and the International Meetings I have attended at

Two years ago, I founded an internet group for Safari Owners at
groups.msn.com/ClassicSafariCaravanEnthusiasts
We now have 80 members mostly in the UK, but we do have members in the US, Canada, and Holland.
In the UK we have two Historic Caravan Clubs, one for pre 1960 caravans (The Historic Caravan Club) and one for pre 1980 caravans, (The Period and Classic Caravan Club) I am a member of the latter, and have contacts who are members of the HCC. Both Clubs hold 15-20 meetings each year.
There is thriving International activity in Europe with an annual Rally in a different country each year. Last year 150 caravans attended the event in Belgium, and last month I went to the French event in the company of 7 other outfits from the UK and joined over 150 other enthusiasts from all over Europe. It is about 500 miles (800k) from my home to the event. Not as great a distance as you seem to cover, but a mighty long way for us Europeans!
I have quite a bit of reference material on UK classic caravans and might be able to help with members questions.
If any members are ever visiting Europe. I would be pleased to let them know of any classic caravan rallies taking place during their visit, and meet up with them if it was possible.
I would like to know if any Safari caravans made it to Australia? A long shot I know, but if so, I would love their owners to join our group.
