I've got a Castle Caravan (as some of you already know). I have seen a caravan which is in need of a makeover. It is called a KING caravan . Now this may seem a little uncanny that I already have a Castle caravan and that I soon may have the King ( if the price is right). This might be funny to some but in all the info I have I cannot find this van anywhere. It is about 10 foot long and is wraped in alluminum sheeting.
Does anyone have any info??? PS Don't have any pictures yet
Okay guys stop joking around The hardest thing about this van is finding infomation on it. The second hardest thing is getting the van from its current owners at the moment. as they are very attached to it. I think they may let it rot before I can covince them to sell
If the King has left the picture,,,,there is always another one just around the corner...... ;D ;D
Hey...what about the DOOZY DUCK!!!!!? ;D
Perfect for a bloke of your talents.....no regrets in pulling the whole thing to bits with old DOOZY....
One of lesser talents would not be wise to tackle her...in fact I could drop it round tomorrow for you to think about.....but you have to give it back....nah keep it!
........and if you think Im pushing too hard ...refer to JAZHOW2 learns a lesson!!!!!
Funny how people don't realy want their old vans but still can't part with them...local has a 10 footer with anexe...has doubled her price in the last two months since I started acting interested.......bugger!!!!
Me thinks DOOZIES owner also smells a profit afoot!
Just shows you...if the demand exceeds supply...up goes the price!!!
Demand for old vans will grow....supply will not......
Maybe "Retro1 Vans PTY LTD ".................could be worth investing in stocks early folks ? ;D ;D ;D Marc
I have got a bloke who wants to rent Elvis for his honeymoon this dude who lives in my street wants to hire it or a week to take a his honeymoon down south so I said sure only cost you $75.00ollars a day plus insurance and will supply the cans and boots I was only kidding however he came back and wants to book it for 5 days He saw Elvis leaving for Guiderton and called in immediately I came home I told him I would think about it It cost $2200 and 5 days would pay for 1 fifth of the investment however I think elvis is destined to live his life out sharing the backyard with Tia the teardrop and the odd weekend away with the group I am having great fun just the way things are why spoil it by creating another business however I have this used outboard Marc and if you want we can go into business with no 2 van doing river cruises up and down the picturesque murray river what do you think
Hang on a minute. If the king was Elvis . Then wouldn't the van where he spends most of his time be called ...... "GRACELANDS".
Shuddder..... just had a disturbing thought. Isn't that what Michael Jackson calls his wackyworld
I apologise to any Elvis fans for mentioning the great one and that side show freak in the same email.
Remember Retro - Keep persavering - they will cave in eventually. Don't loose touch with reality, Only pay what YOU consider a fair price. In thier eyes they have you hooked and all that is left is to reel you in. You know enough about vans to be able to make a sensible judgement.
Its worth what people are prepared to pay for it at this moment they may not want to part with it when the reg bill comes in things change Justine wanted $1200 dollars for Elvis I got it for six hundred when there was no further interest Time is a friend if there is work to do on the van
