HI BELINDA, my little stove in Doris is a "MAXIE" metho stove . It was built by MAXCO INDUSTRIES P/L , NORTH SYDNEY . Its a two burner gravity feed unit with a stainless steel tank above/behind approx 500mls. Recently did the hot dogs at my kids school fete , it just ticked over ,no problems for 5 hours .(fire squirty thingy was handy just in case). A very basic unit but works well ! Regards Maurie . p.s your van is very similar to mine! Where abouts in Sydney are you ? If you wont to compare vans one day, we will have to meet up! CHEERS!

Hi Maurie.
some time back you sent an email to Ditzy re photo posting. Unfortunaltey her email system has been a little dodgy and you may not have received her reply.
But if you look under the Bridge town amd Guilderton spots on the Runs and Event section you will find simple instructions by Jim.
Hope this helps

Hi Maurie,
Maxie stoves are still available - I saw them in the catalogue from Carvan Supplies at Rockdale. They are advertised as marine stoves and they have several different models.
Cheers
Belinda

G'DAY V'CVERS , Just wondering still if there are any other ATLANTIC vans out there ! It would be good to catch up and compare vans .( I'll show you mine if you show me yours ) . There are some photo's and info in members photo album and under tow cars sections . Until recently i only had heresay about my van , but that all changed when Mark sent a copy of a sales brochure on ATLANTIC 's dated 1961 . Look forward to catching up soon . Regards , Maurie .
