Hi All VVers I forgot to mention in the above post, to notice the chain winders on the windows. They may not be original , but they are certainly user friendly. They eliminate the struts/keeper locks, and allow for fixed flyscreens, windows can be openned from zero to 300mm just by a turn of the handle. If any of you are interested just send a PM and I can pass on details. Cheers boblor

Hi Bob. That is a really sweet result of a restoration. You'll have a different van for every day of the week soon!! ;D ;D

Hi All Thanks for your comments,PM's and bobandjacqui for putting the photos on the site. We are pleased with our results, but still have some minor jobs to do, but there is no rush. Ray's comment we have a van for each day of the week,is not quite true, but we do appear to have one too many, and the van featured here maybe the one have to part with by early next year, So this attractive van could be looking for a new home, unless we change our minds and part with our Expandavan . Cheers boblor

Hi All VVers We have decided we cannot use three vans and have decided to sell the above beautiful van. As stated it has some history, -- only van built in this colour by Olympic, chassis no. 35 (the 2nd oldest on the road), and we have been told it was used by Don Chipp the Democrates Leader as his campaign van. It has been completely restored from the ground up, and made user friendly in some areas, to keep up with modern times. Sale price $18000, ph 0428 850 666 Cheers boblor

Could I ask what colour you've painted it? I think that's close to the colour I'm planning for the Kennedy.

Hi richard We just blended the colour to suit near the original, I may be able to find a sample piece and send to you, -- thats if I can still locate the piece I cut out for a power outlet. Cheers boblor
