Hi all just a quick update on where I'm at, progress slowed a little with my woes with the Ute, but I think I maybe back on track, have started making the doors which are coming along nicely and today I began work on what I call the light pods (tail lights and indicators) these if they come together the way I hope will attach to the sides, I'm sorry for not having any pics but both items are at a stage not worthy of photos but hang in there they will come I know how we all like photos.

Bugger someone moved the finish line, for some reason I've lost my enthusiasm but I'm still plodding away with me doors and light pods, still no pics but they will come trust me, had a few more issues with me Ute and working on changing the sedan over to Club Permit also so been a bit preoccupied, doors are now almost done with the windows well underway also, this is where I need a little help guys, What to use for a window stay? had a look at the standard Casement window stays but I wasn't to impressed with them any ideas ?? I've slowly been workin away on STU and making slow progress, having no energy makes it all that much harder been busy but, painting and painting and painting, just a base colour but colour none the less, all I need do now is give it a big big sand and get him ready for the final colour.

Okay everybody, some more pics for you all, firstly STU with his final colour Now we have some pictures of the dry fitting of the internal cupboard doors. And here they are opened. Only one change made and that was to the middle door which had it's hinges moved to the other side, due to the fact that I only had one latch that was designed for a right hand opening door, all the others are left handers.

Hi to all those whatching this resto, just another quick update so youse all know that I haven't forgotten poor little "STU", been busy over the last couple of nights, painted inside, fitted main doors, fitted internal cupboard doors, internal lights, internal 12v outlet, external clearance lights, rear tail/stop/number plate light and tonight I've begun work on the tail/stop lights and indicators phew once I have them done I will finish off the windows in the doors and then give "STU" his final coat of paint, refit the gaurds and wheels then that just leaves the kitchen area, YAAAAAAAAY!!!! once I've given him his final coat I'll go silly with some pics ;D

Well hello again, guess what? I got pictures people I figured that one coat of paint looks pretty much like the last coat so I didn't bother with pics of that, just waited till I was somewhat further down the track before I grabbed the old camera and started shooting, pictures that is, I've been somewhat busy over the break jumping from one project to another then there is the lawn to cut as well, places to go people to see, sorry what's that you say?"Stop yapping and get on with the pics" okay okay settle down people all good things come to those that wait Waiting Waiting Waiting Outside in the sun. Yes it is registered. Found a couple of these things laying around in the shed. Trusty old boat trailer guards. Internal doors. Internal light. Hatch and doors open. Close up of his butt ;D Tail/stop & indicators. Window open. Got a handle on this. This on one side. Plus this on the other side. So were they worth waiting for? only one major piece left to finish off but I don't think it will take to long once I hook in. The kitchen? or at least where it should be. The wires you can see hanging there in the middle are for an overhead light, no I havn't fitted it yet. Thank you for looking.

Thanks for the comments all, it's taken a while but like the Hare and the Tortise slow and steady wins the race, and mgandwartz no nicking my ideas, JUST use them okay I think I'll sit and spend some time thinking of what I'll do with the kitchen, not to sure what to do just yet but first I'll gather up my meager pieces of camping equipment and see just how much I need to stow or really need to have and go from there, all suggestions greatfully excepted.
