Hi Reddo
What is this Barnsley place? I posted my cheque to Joondalup nearly two weeks ago as per Mark's previous instructions on this thread!
BUT that said I still don't have my two and the cheque hasn't been banked?
Mark/Ditzy have you received it yet?
regards
PaulW

Hi stinker sales people. OOOpppps Sticker sales people.
Seems my little outburst yesterday was heard by Australia Post. retrieved them from the letterbox yesterday arvo. they look great. Now all ive gotta wait for is my tin sign i won on eBay nearly three weeks ago to turn up. Ebay is sayin person is no longer a member. I have tried contacting the seller.... no luck or reply. i think my $26 plus postage and handling for $8 may be lost for ever. Then again Australia Post could be dragging the chain .... again.

A few weeks ago I got an e-mail from Hamilton, NZ asking if I wanted any stickers so I sent my address - haven't heard anything since. I'm happy to send a money order to you, what is the postage cost add on from NZ. Regards from sunny Otago

Hi Mark,
If you do some more, could you make them fit in a slightly smaller envelope? It will save on postage!
Also, if you're doing a re-design why not a triangular flag shape like the nifty fifties banners a few people have.
cheers

Mark,
Do you plan on producing anymore?
Obviously would like one myself and I am sure new members would be very interested too.
The caravan on the sticker looks very similar to ours.
Not sure on the Holden though (me being a Ford man) - Suppose you can't have everything!!
Thanks
Peter

Mark, Is there anyway the sticker graphics could be placed onto flag type material ( the felt type if still available ) to make aerial flags like the RACV Caravan Club used to have. regards don

Hi All I have had a bit of a PM discussion with Mark re stickers this week.. Way back on page one or two of this thread i mentioned that the signwriters at work might be able to do the stickers for us at a"competitive rate". This option was dropped when Ditzy got someone over WA to do them. I sought Marks permission to do another 100 stickers . OK providing the signwriters agree and logo stays the same. I have taken onboard Belindas suggestion to see if they can be made the ame length as a business sized envelope so they do not have to be folded when mailing out. If the wording dont look too " scrunched up" i think this is a good idea. I will make enquires with the mob i was gunna get to do the tee shirts and see what pennants are worth. I feel that a pennant with all the colours that are in the logo would be expensive. How big do ya want them?? 100mm on the short side of the triangle and 300mm on the long sides??? How big where the old pennants?? Gotta remember if ya gunna put it on an ariel you dont want anything too heavy. Get up around 60mph and bend ya aerial. What colour do ya want them??? Again we would probably need to stick to the logo colours. Maybe just pale blue background with white letters outlined in black would look ok " www.vintagecaravans.com" with "Australias touring Heritage" in black letters. Better pull my head in and just see what "The Boss" has to say. Lunchbox 5 stars.

Reddo, Youve got a good point there about bending the aerial over 60mph. I forget that 1)- People didnt probably drive over 50mph when the pennants were popular and 2)- the modern aerial is of much less quality than the old.But it would still be interesting to find out what chance there was of getting them especially for us older car owners-thats cars not necessarily owners-that crave a little nostaglia every now and then. regards don

I was waiting to see if "Gumbys" replied but..............the van is an Olympic Debonair, a 14 foot all fibreglass caravan. The production started around 1965 and continued through to about '75.
