Nice looking car Adam, am watching with interest to see what you're doing with it.
We had a ute with a slant 6 in it at work, I used to love to jump in that thing & go for a spin, it went better than a V8 I used to think, also a wagon with the 318, smooth as !. All that Chrysler stuff has good motors/gearboxes & running gear. The colour should look tops with the van.
Cheers

C 8-)O 8-)O 8-)L Old bloke i use to drink with down the local bowlo had a 245 Hemi pacer. And it was a flash one to aye Mr Alan Bond.. 'cuas it was a RED one. went like the proverbial off a shovel. Real raspy exhaust note. Offered it to everyone in the club for around $250 with 3 weeks rego back in the early 80's ..... No one wanted it.. so it went to the wreckers....... never to be seen again. Crying,,, your crying... aaawwww come on... there , there, never mind. Really strong running gear and light weight bodies made them a quick thing in there days. Bodys folded up badly in a crash though... She'll make a great towcar.... love it. Reddo

Ooh I love it ! ( I have a VF VIP ,Slanty powered , brown with a cream roof ) not as shiny as yours tho . Seems to tow ok - bit dubious on the stopping . I'm interested to see your tow bar setup , will take a couple of photos of mine for comparison , as the bolts look ....well maybe not strong enough ! Our little caravan is only approx 660kg so its not ' heavy ' .
cheers rex

Hi guys,
While we are talking about VF and VG valiants, Kelley and I are on the hunt for a VG coupe, not concerned about the body condition tooo much. But would like one with original interior in good nick. I know this is asking a lot but you never know. ;D ;D

Thanks Rex, Yeah I'd be keen to see a photo and phone no. ;D ;D We have been looking for a while, I've probably been a bit fussy but this will not be the first project car we've done and we want to avoid some of the traps. Glad your trip went well. We will be towing Veron to Canungra (not sure of spelling there) with Vera (S series valiant). This will be there first big trip together. New wheel bearings, full tank of fuel, what could go wrong??? Cheers mate, Des and Kel

Thanks Dave that would be great,
I'll see if Des can send them to you tonight. The air con may come in very handy this Summer, could be a hot one with some of the days we've had already.

Hi Adam.
Looks pretty good. Certainly a good transformation. I've got my Dodge down to a rolling shell getting major rust repair surgery. All properly cut out & new panels fabricated by a coach builder, & if it comes up as good as his normal work I'll have a pretty good shell.
If I end up with as shiny paint as yours I'll be rapt.
Cant wait to see it in the paint.

G'day Kazandadam,
What a great combination. You'll certainly get some open mouthed stares as you pass by with that rig.
