Hi everyone, I had a relaxing & enjoyable time as well, although unfortunately without Deb who is crook.
As chippydave said, Seaside accommodation for only $20 a night, bargain!
Plus+++good company, great location, nice meal , Was good to finally meet Mark & Ditz all the way from WA & to catch up with the rest. We'll be back again next year.
I got up around 5am this morning & left (sorry, should have said proper goodbyes last night) I wanted to tackle Bulli Pass before there was any traffic.
Got up the 1st and steepest bit ok, had to change down to 1st gear mid flight, was going to give the old girl a rest when I reached the flat bit but decided to keep going & reached the top ok.
Look forward to seeing the pics as I only had the phone camera. Thanks to the Tikos who delivered an ancient tow hitch all the way from Earlee (thanks Earlee!) in QLD for one of my other vans.
Regards, Gary

Hey Chippydave or should I call you 'Windbreak'. Thanks for providing the windbreak services with your palatial dwelling parked next to me otherwise maybe the teardrop would have taken off in the traditional Coledale 'breeze'

hi v.v.'ers (and hollywood stars) just got back from a quick visit to friends staying (in rob and belinda's spot) at coledale and the local edition of the sunday telegraph has a full page spread in the social pages of the v.v. gathering there last weekend. latest hollywood stars are cobber ;D ;D and trodler in front of trodler's ute and trodler's yellow van and propert and sugarshack's '59 retractable. unfortunately the story was not run in the sydney papers. will try to get a copy of the stories to scan and post here. geoff 'n jude

Hi all ... i just wanted to say a big "Thank you" to all those that put in lot's of time and effort to organize and participate in Coledale this year ..... it was great to visit - even if it was only a very brief one on sun am .... it was good to catch up with some of the familiar names that i so often see on the forum .... and it was a real inspiration to see all the vans lined up in the park ... they looked great .... well done every one i was really disappointed that i was unable to get at least one of the Don's ready in time for 2007 .... esp as it looks like the 150 is only about 6 - 8 weeks away from the finish line - (hopefully ) ... i hope to have some progress pics up soon ... anyway, both the kids got all excited to see the vans and the "matching" tow cars .... and quickly found some friends to play with in about 5 minutes flat .... so they are both very keen to get there next year ... so that was another plus for the sun am visit ... anyway, again - thanks to all - see you next year .. regards A|T
